Contrary to common belief, pigeons do not lose much electrolytes during exertion such as races, but rather proteins. However, breeding pigeons that lay multiple rounds of eggs do benefit from electrolyte supplementation. This product is therefore perfectly tailored to the specific needs of your breeding pigeons, especially during the intensive periods of egg formation and raising young pigeons.

With a 30 times higher dosage than conventional electrolyte mixtures, Electrolyte-Balance ensures that your pigeons remain healthy and in top condition by preventing mineral deficiencies. Moreover, this product helps keep the droppings in the nest of young pigeons dry, making your pigeon loft more hygienic and allowing your young pigeons to develop better.

Administration

Electrolyte-Balance can be used throughout multiple seasons:

• Breeding period: Feed your breeding pigeons with 1 measuring spoon (10 g) per liter of water. This supports the electrolyte balance and prevents the breeding hen from extracting essential minerals from her bones during egg formation.
• Competition period: Give your racing pigeons the same dosage to help them recover after exertion and stay in top shape.
• With wet droppings in the nest: Increase the dosage to 2 measuring spoons (20 g) per liter of water for young pigeons with moist droppings, especially during the second or third breeding round, to prevent metabolic problems and keep the droppings drier.
