Symptoms:
Airway infections: tightness of the chest; sneezing; runny nose; head bobbing; head swelling; shortness of breath.
Diarrhoea: loss of appetite; (sometimes) additional water intake; abnormal stool; dirty vent feathers; crest (sometimes) flattened and blue.

Recommended treatment:

Isolate the sick birds (temperature 28-33 ºC, lights dimmed)
While treating sick animals, give any other birds preventive treatment also
Ensure that the birds take the recommended quantities of medication; therefore, avoid the intake of nonmedicated food or water
Do not provide any calcareous products during treatment
Administer glucose and DAC MULTIVITMIX during treatment
For serious conditions, extended treatment is recommended
Make sure to adequately disinfect the accommodation
Avoid contact with the hands during treatment
If rapid improvement fails to occur, consult an expert.

Active ingredient: Doxycycline

Dose:
pheasant type birds/ water birds: 5 g/10 kg of body weight or 5 g/litre of drinking water or 0.5 kg of food during 5-10 days.

Package: jar 80 gr. (measuring spoon 1+5 g).
