SYMPTOMS OF BACTERIAL INFECTIONS IN COMMON:
EXTRA SYMPTOMS OF COLIBACILLOSIS (SWEATING DISEASE):
• Obvious changes in behaviour and appearance
• rued and ued feathers
• Unusual or dificult breathing
• reduced appetite and sitting low on perch
• Inside of nests stained with yellow diarrhoea of nestling
• youngster stunted
• increased death rate during the rst few days of life.
Salmonellosis is more prevalent in wetter periods of the year, outside aviary, when proper
hygienic measures are not taken, exposure to mice or wild bird droppings is a source of infection.
DOSAGE: AS A NORMAL TREATMENT add a dosage of 5 g in 1 liter of drinkingwater
during 5 –7 successive days.
IN CASE OF SALMONELLOSIS OR COLIBACILLOSIS (SWEATING DISEASE) repeat the
treatment after 2 days

Contra-indication(s): over dosage.
Advice for use:
Isolate the sick birds (temperature 28-33 ºC, lights dimmed).
While treating sick animals, provide preventive treatment to other birds as well.
Ensure that the birds take the recommended quantities of medication; therefore, avoid the intake of non medicated food or water.
Administer glucose and MULTIVIT MIX during treatment.
For serious conditions, extended treatment is recommended
Make sure to adequately disinfect the accommodation.
If rapid improvement fails to occur, consult an expert.
